Mr. M. Rajapandiyan planted the seeds of Vijay Raja Group through “Raja Stores” in 1949, giving rise to a vibrant, multi-location business chain across the region. In 1963, the group diversified into the construction industry, where Vijay Raja Group meticulously crafted and delivered over 72,65,362 sq. ft. to the satisfaction of 9,573+ delighted customers to date. In 1983, under the astute leadership of Mr. Chendhilnathan as Chairman and Managing Director, Vijay Raja Group embarked on a journey into diverse business segments. The inception of “Raja Agency” in 1983 marked the pioneering foray into the production and supply of medical and industrial gases.

With a legacy spanning more than 75 years, Vijay Raja Group has firmly established its presence in the healthcare, construction, and hospitality sectors, boasting seven registered group companies. In the construction arena, Vijay Raja Group stands as one of the pioneering and oldest backwards-integrated companies in South India, with a dedicated team of over 500 on-roll staff and more than 3,000 direct labourers.
