Our inspiring journey began in 1994, led by the visionary entrepreneur Mr. D. Siva Shanmugam. We embarked on our first construction venture with a complete road development project in Tharamani, laying the foundation for Chennai’s iconic Film City. That same year, we marked a significant milestone by completing a prestigious Southern Railway project—an impressive bridge over Kolavai Lake in Chengalpattu—in a record-breaking time of just four weeks. This landmark achievement propelled our continued growth in the Southern Railway sector, where we have consistently expanded our footprint. Fueled by innovation and a strong commitment to excellence, we have successfully managed and delivered multiple projects in parallel, upholding the highest standards of quality and punctuality.

In 2012, we elevated our legacy with the construction of the Vandaloor Road Over Bridge—a landmark project that continues to stand tall as a signature achievement in our portfolio.Driven by a desire to build not just infrastructure, but communities, we expanded into the real estate sector in 2014, launching Avittam Homes.
